Aku, Supir Terhormat

After quiting my job in June, my sister really took me for granted. Suka suka dia aje call me and asked me to drive her around town to do her errands, of course with her on tow plus her twin grandchildren. Actually I dont mind, but the thought of receiving her call or SMS as early as 8am in morning and shouting, eh, tido lagi ke? bangun lah and bawa akak gi sini jap. Bukannye nak tanya aku ada hal ke hapa. Mentang2 lah aku dok umah, dia ingat aku tak de hal ke hapa?

Yang si twin dua ekor nie a bit scared of me coz I usually will talk garang2 with them and when we went out, my sister nie happy sebab they will listen to me and will not be grumpy. If I said duduk in the car, both will sit down quietly, which is very rare if they travel with their parents or with their granny, my sister.

Every week ada saja hal dia, be it siang or malam. Last 3 weeks, she asked me to send her to do some groceries shopping, then withdraw duit kat bank, then gi open house, and finally last week asked me to go the bank and withdraw her pension. Tapi rata2, errandnye gi bank or bayar bill. She will umpan me with, nanti lepas ni akak belanja makan and isi minyak keta ye. Hallo, aku bukannya nak upah bawa kakak aku buat errand, itu tolong saja, tapi berpada lah kak oi! Ini main sedap mulut dia and ikut time dia aje. So last Friday, I said, aku ada hal tak leh pergi, kita gi Monday lah ya. Manalah aku tau, Monday pepagi dia dah SMS ingatkan aku & menuntut janjinye. So off I went and sent her to the bank nearby her hourse, and I warned her that I could not take her anywhere else coz I ada hal and guess what, she sulk, sulk, hokay! I pretend I did not see that and asked her, ah, mana lagi nak pergi nie, last kopek, pas tu boleh hantar balik masuk kandang dua ekor budak nie. She wanted to do groceries shopping (tak faham lah aku, tiap2 minggu ada aje dia nak beli barang, kan senang beli once a month!) and I sent her to the nearby supermarket and waited in the car with the children. Dah habis beli barang, she said she suddenly remembered kena bayar TNB bill (aku dah hangin nie) and trying very much to control my temper, I said ok lah kita gi TM and bayar bill. Actually, I have promised to meet up with a friend to accompany her to hantar her brother tukar dressing luka due to an accident. My friend called me at about 1.30pm and since I have not finished with "orang tua leha" (OTL) that is our nickname for her, my friend said, we go separate way la. I felt bad for her but OTL errand tak habis lagi. Dah la que kat dalam tu panjang, oohhh tensionnye aku!

OTL offered to buy me lunch, I said no need lah as I thought I could catch up with my friend and meet up with her somewhere else. Suddenly, En MHM called and asked me to drive him to the workshop and check on his car due to an accident (refer earlier posting related to this). Hmmm, kena jadi supir lagik, tapi ini I ambil upah, I told En MHM, belanja I makan dulu since I belum lunch, tapi lunch venue pilihan En MHM, bukan pilihan supir, aduhai, apalah nasib ku! Susah gak ya jadi supir nie...
